I received this book through Goodreads First Read. I sat down and read this book in less than a day. The storyline, the plot and the characters were amazing! The idea of leaping from one reality to another was presented in such a way that you were hooked right in. The only things I didn’t like the book, and the reason I gave it only 3 stars was that the writing wasn’t very developed. This book, at 303 pages, could have easily been twice as long. Some of the details in the book were painstakingly specific, and others were terrible generic and broad. Example: “Alex and Linda were gone for eight minutes before they walked back into the room and joined their conversation…Miles drove Alex back to her Jeep and they talked casually the entire way.” The specificness of the eight minutes clashes with the casual conversation statement. A few improvements in the writing and this book could be a HUGE bestseller.

Couldn’t finish it. I understand the whole point of the book was that the consumerism of the yuppie lifestyle can drive you to kill, but really? Do I need to know what brand and what price every single piece of clothing that every character in the book is wearing every second? Those descriptions were WAY worse than the actual killing scenes.
